Famous Mathura is a village in Mathura district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In Mathura many visitor visits throughout the year. This place is the Holy place for Hindus. Mathura is located just 50 kms away from Agra and 145 kms away from the South of Delhi. This place is known as the birth place of Lord Krishna which is located at the center of Brajbhoomi and is considered to be as a holy place for Hindus. This Brajbhoomi is divided divided into two distinct units. One unit is at the eastern part of Yamuna which had places like Gokul, Mahavan, Baldeo, Mat and Bajna. Second unit is at the western side of Yamuna which covers entire Mathura region that includes Vrindavan, Govardhan, Kusum Sarovar, Barsana and Nandgaon.
